Privacy Policy
Last updated May 30, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Guava (“Guava,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website and service that generates a one-page website from a business’s public Google listing (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to this Policy.
Information we collect
- Information you provide: the Google Maps link you paste, and any contact details you submit (for example, an email address when you contact us or start a paid plan).
- Business and review data: when you submit a link, we retrieve publicly available business details, photos, ratings, and reviews from the Google Places API to build your page.
- Usage data: basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and timestamps, collected to operate and secure the Service.
How we use information
- To resolve a link to a business and generate, store, and display the resulting page.
- To analyze review content using AI in order to produce accurate, evidence-based copy.
- To operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Service.
- To communicate with you about your account, support requests, or changes to the Service.
Service providers
We share information with third parties only as needed to run the Service. These include Google (Places API, for business and review data), Anthropic (AI processing of review text to generate and verify copy), Supabase (database hosting), and our application hosting provider. Each processes data on our behalf under their own terms.
Google content
Business details, photos, ratings, and reviews are sourced from Google and remain subject to Google’s terms and the rights of their respective authors. Review content is shown with attribution and is not presented as our own. We display this content to build your page and do not claim ownership of it.
Data retention
We retain generated pages and the underlying data for as long as the page is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may request deletion of a generated page and its associated data at any time by contacting us.
Your choices & rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below. If you are the owner of a business whose public listing was used to generate a page, you may request changes or removal.
Cookies
We use only the cookies necessary to operate the Service and remember basic preferences. We do not sell personal information.
Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above.
